The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southern Door County in northeastern Wisconsin…

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 921 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northeast
of Bay Shore Park, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Sherwood Point Light around 945 AM CDT. Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal
Light around 950 AM CDT. Whitefish Point around 955 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Brussels,
Namur, Shoemaker Point, Kolberg, Maplewood, Forestville, Carnot,
Vignes, Clay Banks and Potawatomi State Park.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

If on or near the water, move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember,
lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If
you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a
thunderstorm.
