* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Logan County in west central Kansas…
Western Gove County in west central Kansas…
* Until 745 PM CDT.
* At 649 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 9 miles northwest of Winona to 7 miles north of
Oakley to 5 miles east of Menlo, moving south at 30 mph.
THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR LOGAN AND WESTERN GOVE COUNTIES.
HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Multiple reports of 80 to 90 MPH winds in Colby 6:30 PM.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Oakley, Winona, and Monument around 655 PM CDT.
Grinnell around 705 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
