The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Eastern Thomas County in northwestern Kansas…
Sheridan County in northwestern Kansas…
Gove County in west central Kansas…

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 947 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles north of Gem to near Scott State Lake,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Colby airport reported 68 MPH gust at 9:41 PM CT

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near…
Oakley and Rexford around 950 PM CDT.
Menlo around 955 PM CDT.
Grinnell around 1000 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Grainfield, Gove, Hoxie and Park.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 76 and
100.
