The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
East central Grant County in west central Nebraska…
Southwestern Hooker County in west central Nebraska…

* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 516 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northeast
of Swan Lake, or 20 miles southwest of Mullen, moving east at 20
mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
east central Grant and southwestern Hooker Counties.

building.

agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
