* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota…
Northern Haakon County in west central South Dakota…
Northeastern Meade County in west central South Dakota…
Northeastern Pennington County in west central South Dakota…
Ziebach County in west central South Dakota…

* Until 945 PM MDT.

* At 845 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
8 miles southwest of Glad Valley to 6 miles south of Plainview, or
along a line from 23 miles north of Faith to 35 miles south of
Faith, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Dupree, Faith, Cherry Creek, Milesville, Plainview, Red Scaffold,
Red Elm, Bridger, Iron Lightning, Thunder Butte, Howes, Billsburg,
South Eagle Butte, Kirley, Glad Valley, Marcus, Intersection of
Cherry Creek and Sunnybrook Roads, Takini, Durkee Lake and
Intersection of Highway 63 and BIA Road 8.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds.
