Northeastern Harding County in northwestern South Dakota…
Northwestern Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota…

* Until 700 PM MDT.

* At 554 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ludlow, or 21
miles north of Buffalo, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Ludlow, Ralph, Lodgepole and North Cave Hills.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
