Northeastern Jones County in central South Dakota…
Southern Stanley County in central South Dakota…

* Until 845 PM CDT /745 PM MDT/.

* At 740 PM CDT /640 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 6
miles southeast of Van Metre, or 15 miles north of Murdo, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Northeastern Jones and Southern Stanley Counties.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
