The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Eastern Kittson County in northwestern Minnesota…
Western Roseau County in northwestern Minnesota…

* Until 400 PM CDT.

* At 254 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lake Bronson,
or 32 miles west of Roseau, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Karlstad, Greenbush, Badger, Lake Bronson, Halma, Strathcona, and
Pinecreek.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature’s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
