Southeastern McIntosh County in southeastern North Dakota…

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 931 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ashley, or 38
miles west of Ellendale, moving southeast at 30 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR ASHLEY.

HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

This is a dangerous situation with winds expected to produce damage
similar to a tornado. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a well-built structure. Mobile homes and high profile vehicles are at
an enhanced risk for damage.
