The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern McLean County in south central North Dakota…
Northeastern Mercer County in south central North Dakota…

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 928 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Beulah Bay Recreation Area to 10 miles south of Benedict, or
along a line from 14 miles north of Beulah to 16 miles east of
Garrison, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Garrison, Riverdale, Pick City, Coleharbor, Butte, Benedict, Hazen
Bay Recreation Area, Ruso City, Beulah Bay Recreation Area, Ruso,
Fort Stevenson State Park, Lake Sakakawea State Park, Emmet,
Strawberry Lake and Dakota Waters Recreation Area.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
