South Central Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota…
North Central Meade County in west central South Dakota…

* Until 945 PM MDT.

* At 918 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
Fairpoint, or 40 miles west of Faith, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Maurine, Opal and Mud Butte.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
