* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Mellette County in south central South Dakota…

* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 1012 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
7 miles northwest of Intersection of Highway 83 and White River to
6 miles north of Cedar Butte, or along a line from 14 miles north
of White River to 13 miles northwest of White River, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
White River, Wood, Cedar Butte, Horse Creek, Swift Bear and Butte
Creek.
