Central Pine County in east central Minnesota…

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 401 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Mora, or 15
miles west of Pine City, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Damage to vehicles is expected.

Brook Park around 410 PM CDT.
Hinckley around 420 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include
Sandstone, Banning State Park and Askov.

Instructions

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for east central
Minnesota.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a
tornado is not immediately likely, if one is spotted, act quickly and
move to a place of safety inside a sturdy structure such as a
basement or small interior room.
