* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Western Thomas County in northwestern Kansas…
Sherman County in northwestern Kansas…

* Until 715 PM MDT/815 PM CDT/.

* At 554 PM MDT/654 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 14
miles north of Wallace, or 16 miles southeast of Goodland, moving
north at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
western Thomas and Sherman Counties, including the following
locations… Edson.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 14 and 41.

Instructions

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This thunderstorm will produce strong winds resulting in areas of
near zero visibility in blowing dirt. Use extreme caution if you must
travel and be alert for rapidly changing visibility.
