Details
At 1217 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles south of Progress, or 5 miles west of Muleshoe, moving
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Muleshoe, Earth, Sudan, Needmore, Progress, and Muleshoe Wildlife
Refuge.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
