Details

At 642 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located from the
International Peace Garden to near Willow City, or from 21 miles
northeast of Bottineau to 18 miles northwest of Rugby, moving east at
35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Bottineau, Rolla, Dunseith, Rolette, St. John, Willow City,
International Peace Garden, Belcourt, Shell Valley, Gardena, Mylo,
Overly, Thorne, Butte St. Paul State Recreation Area, Turtle
Mountain, Homen State Forest, Nanson, Omemee, Lake Metigoshe State
Park, and Pelican Point State Recreation Area.

Instructions

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
