Details
At 744 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Souris, or 16 miles northwest of Bottineau, moving
east at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Westhope, Souris, Landa, Roth, Pelican Point State Recreation Area
and Lake Metigoshe State Park.
Instructions
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
