At 242 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Leander, or 10 miles northwest of Cedar Park, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Bertram, Leander, Lago Vista, Hudson
Bend, Liberty Hill, Florence, Oatmeal, Mahomet, Joppa, Andice, Shady
Grove, Jonestown, Volente, and Seward Junction.
