Details

At 1209 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Elk Mountain Lookout, or 13 miles southeast of Newcastle, moving east
at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Pringle, Argyle, Jewel Cave National Monument, Blue Bell, Elk
Mountain Lookout, western Wind Cave National Park and southern
Custer State Park.
