Details

At 546 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Chisos Basin, or 11 miles southwest of Panther Junction. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Panther Junction, Chisos Basin, Big Bend National Park, Terlingua
Ranch Airport, and Terlingua Ranch Lodge.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
