At 451 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Polo, or 8 miles east of Lathrop, moving north at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Kingston and Elmira.
This includes Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 41 and
47.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
north central, northwestern and west central Missouri.
