At 646 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Knapp, or 6 miles west of Menomonie, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Eau Claire, Menomonie, Altoona, Lake Hallie, Colfax, Elk Mound,
Knapp, Tilden, Weston, Hoffman Hills Rec Area, Menomonie Airport,
Cedar Falls, Eau Claire Airport and Seymour.
