At 1224 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Socorro, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
East El Paso, Far East El Paso, Mission Valley, Clint, Horizon City,
San Elizario, Indian Cliffs Ranch, Socorro, Sparks, Homestead
Meadows, Agua Dulce, Dairyland, Lake Way Estates, and Colonia del
Paso.

This includes Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 33 and 48.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
