Details

At 1257 AM CDT/1157 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 12 miles northwest of Mullen, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Mullen, Seneca, Hecla, and Kelso.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 2 between mile markers 173 and 197.
Highway 97 between mile markers 54 and 79.
