Details

At 128 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Nenzel, or 24 miles west of Valentine, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Kilgore, Nenzel, and Anderson Bridge State Wildlife Management Area.

This includes Highway 20 between mile markers 167 and 184.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for north central
Nebraska.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
