Details

At 751 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Dodd City to Greenville. Movement was east at
30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near… Cumby around 810 AM CDT.
Cooper Lake and Klondike around 815 AM CDT.
Roxton, Big Creek Lake, and Brashear around 820 AM CDT.
Cooper and Cooper Lake State Park around 825 AM CDT.
Sulphur Springs and Lake Sulphur Springs around 830 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Charleston,
Neylandville, Lake Creek, New Birthright, Ridgeway, Pacio, Direct,
Midcity, Forest Hill, and Taylor Town.

Instructions

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
