Details

At 457 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Palisade, or 8 miles south of Hayes Center, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hayes Center and Hayes Center State Wildlife Management Area.

This includes Highway 6 near mile marker 56.
