Details

At 1233 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Covington, or 10 miles northwest of Hillsboro, moving south at 15
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Hill
County, including the following locations… Osceola, Mayfield,
Lovelace, Woodbury, and Peoria.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 between mile markers 363 and 369.
Interstate 35W between mile markers 1 and 7.
Interstate 35E near mile marker 371.
