Details

Widespread heat indices of 105-107 degrees are expected this
afternoon. Locally higher heat indices above 108 degrees are
likely during the afternoon hours, especially in areas influenced
by the urban heat island. The heat will become dangerous as early
as the late morning hours. If spending time outdoors, please drink
plenty of water and wear light colored clothing. Do not leave
children or pets in vehicles. Know the signs of heat related
illnesses. If the pavement is too hot for your feet, it is too
hot for your pet’s paws.
