Details

At 235 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 3
miles south of Jansen, or 5 miles east of Fairbury, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

* Locations impacted include…
Odell, Diller, Endicott, Jansen, Barneston, Steele City, Harbine,
Camp Jefferson, Rock Creek Station State Historical Park, and Cub
Creek Recreational Area.

People attending Diller Picnic should seek safe shelter immediately!
