Details
At 521 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles south of Perry Lake to 7 miles
northwest of Osage City. Movement was southeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD…Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Southeastern Topeka, Lawrence, Emporia, Ottawa, Baldwin City, Osage
City, Burlington, Carbondale, Tecumseh, Eudora, Richland, Wellsville,
Auburn, Overbrook, Lyndon, Centropolis, Lebo, Burlingame, Perry, and
Pomona.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 198.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 123 and 205.
