Details

At 1133 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Deerfield to 9 miles north of Hickok to 6
miles southwest of Ulysses. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Hickok around 1140 PM CDT.
Ryus around 1145 PM CDT.
Plymell around 1150 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Satanta.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
