Special Weather Statement issued July 26 at 8:06AM CDT by NWS Quad Cities IA IL
Details
Light winds and very humid conditions have resulted in areas of
fog this morning, some dense, mainly south of I-80 in southeast
Iowa, west central Illinois, and northeast Missouri. In places
this fog is reducing visibility to near one quarter mile. Expect
conditions to gradually improve between 900 AM and 1030 AM as the
fog dissipates.
Motorists should exercise caution as visibilities may change
suddenly over short distances. Use low beam headlights and leave
plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead.
