Details
At 620 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
De Soto, moving northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Olathe, Shawnee, Lenexa, Merriam, Bonner Springs, De Soto, Lake
Quivira, Lackmans, and Holliday.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 in Kansas between mile markers 215 and 221.
Interstate 435 between mile markers 1 and 7, and near mile marker
83.
