Details

At 300 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Counselor Creek Boat Access Area, or near Fort Thompson, moving east
at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Fort Thompson, Lower Brule, Reliance, Crow Creek Housing, Tailrace
Rec Area, Medicine Butte, Counselor Creek Boat Access Area, Lees
Corner, Lyman, Lake Francis Case, Lake Sharpe, Crow Creek
Reservation, and southeastern Lower Brule Reservation.
