At 513 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Edgerton, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Belton, Raymore, Paola, Spring Hill, Peculiar, Louisburg, Edgerton,
Cleveland, Freeman, Lake Annette, West Line, Hillsdale, Chiles,
Bucyrus, Wagstaff, and Stilwell.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 in Kansas between mile markers 200 and 206.
Interstate 49 between mile markers 167 and 172.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
