Details

At 243 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Porcupine, or 18 miles northeast of Pine Ridge, moving northeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Porcupine, Kyle, Manderson, Wounded Knee, Evergreen, Sharps Corner,
Thunder Valley, Goose Neck Housing, Porcupine Butte Housing,
Lonesome Valley, Kyle North Route Housing, Rockyford, Wolf Creek
Housing, Yellow Bear Canyon, southern Badlands National Park and
Pine Ridge Reservation.
