Details
At 318 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 21
miles northeast of Alpine, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Pecos,
north central Brewster, south central Reeves and east central Jeff
Davis Counties.
This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 223 and 235.
