Details
At 540 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Fort Leonard Wood, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Eastern Fort Leonard Wood, Edgar Springs, Lenox, Beulah, and Anutt.
This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 180 and 183.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south
central, central and east central Missouri.
