Details

At 105 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Thompson Butte, or 16 miles southeast of Rapid City, moving northeast
at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Eastern Rapid City, Rapid Valley, Ellsworth Air Force Base, Box
Elder, New Underwood, Hermosa, Caputa, Farmingdale, Folsom,
Thompson Butte, Rapid City Airport, Railroad Buttes, Black Gap and
Hart Ranch.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 58
and 88.
