Details

At 109 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles south of Riley, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor
objects and vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Manhattan, Ogden, Riley, Milford, Leonardville, Milford Lake, Keats,
and Tuttle Creek Lake.

Instructions

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
