Details

At 534 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Prague, or 23 miles west of Northfield, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Faribault, Northfield, New Prague, Lonsdale, Montgomery, Webster,
Dundas, Elko New Market, Bridgewater, Helena, Heidelberg, Veseli,
and St Benedict.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
