Details
At 225 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Canning to near Fate Dam to 11 miles
northwest of Ideal. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Pierre, Fort Pierre, Presho, Blunt, Kennebec, Vivian, Harrold, Cedar
Creek Rec Area, Fate Dam, Rousseau, Joe Creek Rec Area, Lyman,
Canning, 5 Mile Corner, Lake Sharpe, Earling Hill, Byre Lake, West
Bend Rec Area, Degrey Rec Area, and Lower Brule Reservation.
