Details

At 735 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Stonington, or 13 miles south of The Saunders Elevator, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Morton,
southwestern Grant, western Stevens and southern Stanton Counties.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
