Details

At 352 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Morehouse, or 7 miles southwest of Sikeston, moving southeast at 25
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Sikeston, Lilbourn, Miner, Morehouse, Matthews, Canalou, Baker,
Penermon, and North Lilbourn.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 57 in Missouri between Mile Markers 1 and 2.
Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 53 and 67.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
