Details

At 224 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Daingerfield to 7 miles south of
Leesburg, or extending from 16 miles east of Pittsburg to 7 miles
south of Leesburg, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Gilmer, Pittsburg, Daingerfield, Hughes Springs, Lone Star, Cason,
Cedar Springs, Jenkins, Rocky Branch, Rosewood, Midway, Holly
Springs, Lafayette, Center Point, Bettie and Grice.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If on or near a lake, get out of the water and move indoors or inside
a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles from the
parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on
the water in a thunderstorm.
