Details

At 1115 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles north of Utica to 7 miles southwest of
Ness City. Movement was northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Ness City, Ransom, and Arnold around 1120 PM CDT.
Trego Center around 1130 PM CDT.
Wakeeney and Brownell around 1135 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Cedar Bluff,
Ogallah and Riga.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
