Details
At 503 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Tawakoni State Park, or 9 miles northeast of Wills Point,
moving east at 15 mph. Another strong storm was 5 miles northwest of
Wills Point, moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Wills Point, Grand Saline, Edgewood, Emory, East Tawakoni, Point,
Fruitvale, Lake Tawakoni, Lake Fork Reservoir, Alsa, Willow Springs,
Flats, and Hermits Cove.
