* Tornado Warning for…
East central Cherry County in north central Nebraska…
* Until 115 AM CDT.
* At 1237 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Brownlee, or 25 miles north of Thedford,
moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
east central Cherry County, including the following locations…
Highway 83 crossing Goose Creek and Highway 83 crossing the North
Loup River.
This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 170 and 190.

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
