Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County.

Raccoon River at Van Meter Hwy R16 affecting Dallas and Polk
Counties.

Raccoon River at Des Moines IA 28 affecting Polk County.

Middle River near Indianola affecting Warren County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Raccoon River at Van Meter Hwy R16, or from the North and
South Raccoon Rivers to Walnut Woods State Park.

* WHEN…From Thursday afternoon to Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Water affects R Ave just north of the
river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:47 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 7.5 feet, and rising.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of around 19.5 to 20 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday
morning.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
